I am the President of the Cal Poly College Republican Club and going to graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo this month. I will be graduating with a B.A. in History and and working in the Central Coast area as I continue to develop. I got into politics in reaction to the lies and deceit coming from the political establishment, an establishment that exists in both parties. I then saw these lies trickle down through “respected” media and education institutions into my peers and myself. I am upset about the tearing of the social fabric and the decline in virtue, especially when it is being propagated from the top down.
