SUMMARY:February Meeting with Speaker Denice Gary-Pandol
DESCRIPTION:DENICE L. GARY-PANDOL \n  \n  \nUnited States Senatorial Candidate\, California 2024 \nEducator \nand \nPresident\, The Middle East Initiative\, An Educational Foundation \n  \nEmail address:  USSenate@DeniceGaryPandol.com \n661.747.1829 \nwww.DeniceGaryPandol.com  / https://twitter.com/Denice4USSenate \nhttps://www.facebook.com/DeniceGaryPandol4USSenate/ \n  \nSKILLS      \n  \n\nBackground in Intelligence Analysis and Research\nWell-Recognized Abilities in Verbal and Written Communication\nExperienced Educator\nPublic Speaker / Radio Broadcaster / Podcaster\n\n  \nBIOGRAPHICAL SYNOPSIS \nAs a Political Scientist with a life-long passion for government service\, I took my degrees in Political Science with an advanced degree in International Relations.  My core field of study in graduate school was Middle Eastern affairs\, United States foreign policy. Since that time\, my central focus has remained on issues of National Security. \nWith fidelity to purpose\, several enriching experiences regarding United States national security and Middle Eastern affairs including Islamic terrorism\, and more specifically\, Israel\, have emerged. \nGraduating from the School of International Relations at the University of Southern California\, I worked my way through undergraduate and then graduate school.  At the start of graduate school\, I was then recommended by the Chair of Middle Eastern Studies at the School of International Relations to join Analytical Assessments Corporation\, AAC\, a think tank that dealt with national security concerns.  AAC operated in the Los Angeles and the Washington\, D.C. areas. \nWorking with Top Secret clearances for AAC\, I conducted research\, analyzed\, and wrote on matters regarding U.S. national security\, the Arab-Israeli conflict\, and other critical topics.  My research and writing focused principally on the Middle East and Islamic terrorism for specific government agencies including the United States Departments of Defense and State\, the Central Intelligence Agency\, the Defense Intelligence Agency\, and other defense and intelligence-related organizations. \nAfter completing graduate school\, with an emphasis on Middle Eastern affairs and government project work on the contemporary rise of Islamic terrorism\, I was hired as a public relations writer on classified projects for U.S. intelligence at Eaton\, Information Management Systems Division\, a multinational corporation once located in Southern California. \nConducting research and working with a team to complete White Papers on intelligence systems\, I continued to write on subjects related to the national security interests of the United States. After two years at Eaton\, I went on to start my own consulting firm to write and produce public relations materials for publication. \nI have also worked as an adjunct instructor\, teaching political science courses on California government\, U.S. government\, U.S. international relations\, Middle Eastern affairs\, and Islamic terrorism.  I have taught at the University of California\, Irvine; the American Jewish University; Whizin Center of Continuing Education; and various community colleges\, as well as Summit Bible College. I worked in this capacity for a number of years. \nHaving spoken at academic institutions and several non-government organizations\, I have experience with both print and electronic media.  I have written several articles\, written and produced my own podcast on critical security issues and America’s most important strategic ally Israel\, and have spoken on both radio and television. \nAnd through the good offices of a former Director of the Zionist Organization of America in Jerusalem\, I engaged his services in traveling to Israel’s border communities to better understand this strategic ally’s fight in the war against Islamic terrorism. \nIn addition\, working in Romania during a humanitarian crisis\, I had the opportunity to visit one of the poorest countries in Eastern Europe. I served the abandoned and orphaned infants and toddlers there in a tragically bleak state institution in the City of Domnesti. Later back home\, I organized a fundraising event here in my community to help provide clean drinking water for Cambodian villagers in Southeast Asia. \nIn addition\, I had a weekly broadcast for over six (6) years on Christian radio. The focus was on U.S. foreign policy\, national security\, Israel\, fighting the war against Islamic terrorism\, Middle Eastern affairs\, and the persecution and genocide of Jews and Christians in Muslim-dominant countries\, North Korea\, and China. \nMy candidate page and prior podcasts from The Denice Gary Show can be viewed at https://www.facebook.com/DeniceGaryPandol4USSenate/ and remains available on multiple social media platforms such as the Denice Gary Show’s YouTube Channel\, Instagram\, Apple Podcasts\, SoundCloud\, etc. \nMy Middle East website\, although inactive\, has excellent material posted there\, such as vignettes on security issues.  These can be viewed at www.StrategicSolutionsForANewMiddleEast.com. Also\, my additional Facebook page has also been paused.  However\, excellent content can still be read at www.Facebook.com/StrategicSolutionsForANewMiddleEast. and https://twitter.com/Denice4USSenate. \nA full curriculum vitae is available upon request.

SUMMARY:January Meeting with Speaker Max Bonilla
DESCRIPTION:Max is 17 years old and has recently been involved in California politics and would like to explain what he is doing on behalf of the California people. He’s disillusioned about the way California is being run\, and he doesn’t believe that Newson or our legislators have the people’s best interests at heart. He also doesn’t believe California is a lost cause\, so he’s stepping in to change California for his generation. He’s been tracking bills and going to the capitol on a regular basis to reject the bills and the deceit in them. He’s even been tracking what his Board of Supervisors has been doing for the last several months. He thinks the worst of all the bills was AB1400\, which he did go to an Assembly public hearing at the Capitol to oppose. The bill officially became void. He can now say he was a part of California history. He’s making videos on Facebook to inform people about the hearings and bills being heard in advance\, and letting them know what dates are important. He believes that the spirit of California is being kept alive by very few people and he’s one of them. Some of his videos recently got recognized by the President of Latinos for Trump. He’s been doing this for about two years now and plans to hold some form of political office one day. If you think you’re too small to make a difference\, you’ve never been in bed with a mosquito.

He was deployed to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn\, and was deployed to Kosovo under Operation Enduring Freedom. \nAs a Deputy District Attorney\, Dan has focused on prosecuting domestic violence\, sexual assault and child abuse crimes including homicide where he seeks to bring justice for victims of particularly devastating crimes that are committed against those least capable of protecting themselves. He considers it a high calling and a privilege to serve Victims and to hold those offenders accountable for their actions. \nAs a dedicated public servant Dan’s community service goes beyond the courtroom. He regularly speaks at Women’s Shelters and events seeking to provide financial and emotional support to victims of the crimes he prosecutes. He believes the criminal justice system has a moral obligation to be a voice of strength for those without a voice and those who are preyed upon by the worst in our society. \nAs a Veteran himself\, Dan is proud to have played a vital role in bringing the Veterans Treatment Court to San Luis Obispo County. Launched in June of 2013\, the SLO Veterans Treatment Court seeks to address the growing number of veterans entering the criminal justice system as a result of traumatic experiences they endured while in the military. Veterans Treatment Courts assist veterans who have entered the criminal justice system receive treatment and rehabilitation from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs if the criminal activity is attributed to conditions like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder\, Traumatic Brain Injury\, sexual trauma and other triggers related to military service. Veterans Treatment Courts seek to rehabilitate Veteran Offenders\, reduce recidivism and reduce costs to the taxpayers. \nDan and his wife Wendy\, a local small business owner and reading instructor\, have been married for 21 years. They have two children\, Chloe\, age 8 and Jedidiah\, age 6. The Dow family attends church at the Atascadero Gospel Chapel.
